Neelesh Dubey

Born in 1983 in Ramanuj Ganj, a quaint town near Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, Neelesh Dubey has always carried the soil of his homeland in his spirit.
Son of a government doctor, his early years were spent moving across the state—visiting villages, towns, and tribal regions.
Over the decades, this journey made him deeply familiar with every corner, custom, and cultural thread of Chhattisgarh.
He didn’t just live in Chhattisgarh—he lived its stories.Among those stories, one art form stood out for him—Kosa Silk.Having witnessed the painstaking effort and unmatched skill it takes to create this fabric, Neelesh knew that the artisans of this land—especially those in the Dewangan community—deserved more than quiet survival. They deserved pride, spotlight, and global respect.

With more than 25 years of experience in media, Neelesh had already mastered the power of storytelling. He understood the soul of India, and with his entrepreneurial vision spanning industries like industrial manufacturing, dairy, aviation, hospitality, and gas distribution, he had the means to make a real impact. But then came a chapter that tested his resilience—a life-threatening battle with cancer. What followed was not just a fight for life, but a transformation of purpose. He survived. He rebuilt. He returned stronger.Today, Neelesh leads with gratitude. He runs an educational franchise purely as a charitable initiative, giving back to the community and paying his debt to life. And with Varshleela, he brings all his experience, passion, and purpose together—to honor the artisans, revive the heritage of Kosa Silk, and put Chhattisgarh’s handloom craftsmanship on the global map.For Neelesh, this isn’t business. It’s a mission woven from memory, meaning, and a promise to uplift those whose art forms are their identity.

Varsha Dubey

Born in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, Varsha Dubey has always been a natural ambassador of the state’s rich heritage.
With a deep-rooted passion for art, tradition, and culture, she spent her formative years not just learning about the customs of Chhattisgarh—but living them, embracing them, and proudly representing them on national stages across India.

For Varsha, heritage wasn’t something found in books. It was found in everyday life—in folk dances, rituals, weaves, and stories whispered by grandmothers under mango trees.Among all the treasures of her land, one held a particularly sacred place in her heart: Kosa Silk.

Varsha’s connection to Kosa Silk runs through her family’s lineage—a tradition that has been cherished and preserved for generations. Even today, Kosa remains the first fabric of choice in her family, symbolizing elegance, pride, and identity. But as she journeyed across India, Varsha witnessed a truth that never sat well with her: While Kosa Silk belonged to Chhattisgarh, its recognition never truly did.

The artisans behind the craft—the very heart of this heritage—remained invisible. This realization sparked a purpose in her. Alongside her husband, Neelesh Dubey, she decided to take their personal legacy and turn it into a shared movement. Thus, Varshleela was born—not just as a brand, but as a tribute.Together, they envisioned a platform that would bring the elegance of Kosa Silk and the dignity of its weavers into the limelight they always deserved. For Varsha, this is more than entrepreneurship—it’s a return to roots, a reclaiming of identity, and a bold step forward to give voice to the silent artistry of Chhattisgarh.
